Hailie Wong graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture, majoring in Music. She has been learning harp with Ms. Sze Ying Lam in Music Office when she was young. She obtained Grade 8 in harp and piano from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She was a former harp player in the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Hong Kong Institute of Education Orchestra. Hailie has been teaching harp since 2013 in schools.
Hailie’s students have obtained many awards in music competitions, including the Champion of Harp in K3 category by Hong Kong Children Art & Speech Association in 2020; Champion of Harp Grade 1 in Hong Kong Youth Cup International Music Contest 2021 and Champion of Harp Grade 3 in 2023. Her student has also obtained an excellent score of 148 in Harp Grade 1 from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
