Mr. Edwin started his first piano lesson since he was 8. He attained ABRSM Grade 8 piano test with merit in early years. He also received the higher-level guidance in different master classes before, including Ms. Julie Kuok, Duo Ping Ting and Mr. Peter Noke etc. Mr. Edwin was also the participant of Asian Aegean Summer Piano Master Class at Taipei, guided by Professor Eric Chen and Tsai Ming Jui, which brought a lot of benefits to his performance and teaching.
Mr. Edwin firmly believes that becoming an excellent performer, practice, competitions and performance are indispensable. Therefore, he participated in several competitions in the past decade and received dozens of awards as follows:

In addition to competitions and master classes, Mr. Edwin is active in different types of performances during his spare time, such as serving as an accompanist at different music gatherings and performances.
Start from a blank piece of paper, cultivating the interest and until having the confidence to step on the stage, the best equipment / tools are very important towards the learning. Therefore, Mr. Edwin often discovers a variety of teaching materials from everywhere and even overseas with the wide usage in the classroom to cater different level's students. He firmly believes the principle of “Never too late". Everyone can reach the finish point even though losing in the starting line.
